What
Participants will work as a group in several animal care areas. Tasks will depend on the needs of the Sanctuary. Example tasks are cleaning animal areas, assisting with animal socialization, landscaping, weeding, and trail maintenance.
An optional moderate hike is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

A $100 deposit will save your spot for the 2025 Alumni WOR Service Project at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
Deposit is refundable for cancellations before Feb 1, 2025. After February 1st there can be no refunds as we need to reserve the spaces in advance.

Kanab, UT. The nearest airports to Kanab are St. George, UT. = 1 ½ hour; Las Vegas, NV = 3 hours; or Salt Lake = 5 hours. Please consider the distance when making your travel plans
Who
Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is a safe haven for approximately 1,600 homeless animals due to abuse or neglect. At the Sanctuary, animals are loved and given what they need to live their best lives until they find their forever homes. For some, it is a place of recovering and healing and for others it is their home between homes. Registration
- Single Occupancy: $700
- Double Occupancy: $700 + $300 if shared with adult = $1,000 (= $500/person)
- Double Occupancy: $700 + $150 if shared with child younger than 18 = $850
- Price includes lodging and meals.
Lodging will be provided by the Best Friends Roadhouse. Participants can add an additional night and leave on Monday if they choose. Details to book additional night(s) will be in confirmation emails.
