Inquiries to MenHealing Regarding Research Studies

MenHealing will review requests to distribute information about any research studies related to men or male-identified survivors of sexual victimization based on the following criteria.

Required

  • Timeframe for interested candidates to respond to your request
  • Confirm that the research study has been approved by an institutional review board (IRB) at an accredited institution (please provide a copy of the approval letter as well as the informed consent document)
  • Provide a brief (~100-150 words) description of the primary research aim(s) and question(s) of the study align with the Mission and Core Values of MenHealing
  • Upon completion of the study, share with MenHealing a summary of findings and/or any published work

Optional

Consider potential opportunities to support or collaborate with MenHealing, such as:

  • Co-hosting an event or training with MenHealing that aims to promote healing and wellness of male survivors;
  • Promoting MenHealing programs and resources within the institution with which the researcher(s) are affiliated
  • Partnering with MenHealing when piloting or dissemination innovative treatment models/modalities

All inquiries will be reviewed and responses sent within 30 days of receipt of your request.

Information about Research studies that are approved will be posted to the MenHealing website, as well as inclusion as announcement in a maximum of three issues of the MenHealing Newsletter (which is distributed every two weeks).
