MenHealing provides Technical Assistance (TA) through consultation that provides focused support and skill-building to individuals, agencies, systems, etc., to address needs and gaps in services. This builds your capacity to provide the appropriate care to men who have experienced sexual harm.
TA can include
- Interviews with individuals or groups to gather information about the current state of services to identify gaps and needs
- Case Consultations to address current needs of men/survivors you are working with by understanding the communities you serve and their needs
- Providing recommendations based on the knowledge of the communities you serve to address the needs and gaps in service and discuss ways to implement the recommendations
- Providing trainings to address gaps in services and skills
- Follow-up session to explore implementation of recommendations and growth
- Provide further training and recommendations as needed
Payment for Technical Assistance
Technical Assistance is $200 per hour and payment is to include preparation time. Preparation time on average is double the amount of session (i.e. information interviews, case consultation, recommendation meeting) time. For example, a 60 minute session will include 2 hours of preparation time for a total of $600. Willingness to be flexible to accommodate specific needs and/or requirements.
