Bringing Awareness to the Sexual Harm Done to Men

What It Is

MenHealing staff, volunteers, survivors and partners have been providing trainings since our inception that educate communities & service providers to support male survivors and to understand the impacts on their loved ones.

We share how to provide trauma-informed care for men and their partners, and teach communities and providers to recognize men as survivors of sexual harm.

The Impact

We’ve provided training for:

  • advocates
  • military personnel
  • medical care providers
  • mental health providers

Since the start of 2024, we’ve conducted 40 trainings and reached over 4,000 people.

We’ve presented in AK, CA, IL, IN, MA, NV, TX, WA for both local agencies and statewide.

We give in-person and online trainings, sometimes in partnership with organizations as part of their advocate training.

HOW WE DO IT

Our knowledgeable trainers lead workshops with their experience in providing support to male survivors & their partners.

We offer a “menu” of training topics that can be combined in various ways for longer sessions, multi-session, or a full day training, to meet training needs:
